Firefox 3.5 – cool upload done with XHR and progress bar

For some reason I was reading the XHR documentation for FF.

As I noticed that there is now an upload property, that new attribute immediately got my interest and I found a pretty cool blog entry on how to write an XHR-based upload + progress-bar.

The cool thing is that is uses already today API’s of the upcoming FileUpload enhancement of the W3C. Therefore it is likely that Safari/WebKit/Chrome will have that soon too (or they do already?!)

Howdy!
